1) Yoshiki nicknamed Hide "Pink Spider" when he started wearing his hair fluffy and pink because it reminded him of one, but Hide hated the name. It stuck anyway, so he came to accept it, and of course it later became one of his song titles..

2) a girl with a terminal illness once wrote to the Make a Wish Foundation. She said her last wish was to meet hide. He visited her in the hospital.
The girl died 2 months later.. : (

3) In the early part of his career, hide was in a weird little movie called 'Seth et Holth', with a very tragic plot. He played Seth.
